My Forever Changed World

Life changing events. Change is hard for some. Others don’t mind it. For me it depends on what type of change it is.  Being a wife to a military husband for 24 years, I experienced numerous changes. We both were residents of Upstate New York. After he joined the Air Force and we got married, we were in for a lot of changes. We moved to our first base in Columbus, Mississippi. When we love someone, we want only the best for them. As parents, we do all we can to keep our children safe and happy. But, set on the back burner of our minds are thoughts that at times keep us up at night. As our children grow we start teaching them rules. Lists of “dos and don’ts”, and “how to…” Along with these lists is another one. This list is the consequences. Positive and negative consequences to the actions and choices they make. As I begin my first blog page I am thinking, “What am I doing?”  Webpages and blogging was never on my “want to do” list.  Yet here I am, doing what I never entertained in my mind to do.
